I know a few of those guys (they're real humans) and they take the security and well being of their own families that you enjoy every day sipping lattes in Queen Anne pretty seriously. Not sure why this is so unbelievable nor why you feel the need to be such a little bitch.

If they told you they are. Then they aren't.

    Because they wouldn't.

You are nothing short of retarded, and I'm using that conservatively. I work for a business that makes technical apparel. These people wear said apparel, help us develop it and provide field feedback. They are the real deal, I assure you, and the "real deals" don't ever exaggerate because they don't have to.

How is it that you spout off so much about something that you clearly know absolutely nothing about? Is this how you roll everyday or just online?

If he was fake, he wouldn't want his face obscured. He'd want the attention.

As a few of you here already know, the HK VP9 is a pretty amazing gun. I picked one up last week and put 400 rounds thru it yesterday, and it's now my favorite 9mm. I've had an old 92F for ever that has always been my favorite (and most accurate) 9mm but this VP9 blows it away. Still trying to get used to the mag release, but other than that it's the tits.

How do you like the trigger?

Been reading they are pretty smooth.

Trigger is excellent. Probably the best trigger I've ever encountered on a polymer gun. Trigger is better than a worked glock with a ghost trigger bar, with the benefit of it not being a glock. My Beretta 92F used to be my favorite 9mm. It is being relegated to safe queen status following this purchase.

    Dude, pnw, just stop it.
Opsec for active, and I guess even discharged special ops personnel is a pretty big deal.
If he still has a price on his head, as actually can happen, maybe he doesn't want his pic plastered everywhere.
Maybe he's a little paranoid, and maybe people are actually out there who want him dead.
He might even still be involved in intelligence and operations somehow, even if it's just to get his opinion.
Despite some of the better known authors, or Jessie Venturas, most people from that world don't want attention or scrutiny.
    No longer stuck.

Dude is legit and wanted his face obscured. There are certain people from the special operations community that like to write books and appear on daytime TV. There are also those that would rather be a quiet professionals, being totally anonymous. Retired ninja falls in the later camp. Doesn't necessarily have people trying to kill him but also isn't looking to recognized for who/what he is/was.

To back up the Rev - (I work in similar part of the gun business as well.)

They often times buy our products direct off website or Amazon, etc. There might be a shipping address to an APO or military base. We get a hunch but never pry or ask. They don't ask for a discount or even reach out to the company unless they like the product. Then you get an email from a .mil account with someone saying "I'm so-and-so from this unit, I've been using your products and like them. Can me and my friends from my whatever unit order some of them (or make a product suggestion)? Oh, and by the way, here's a picture of your gear being used in Bumfuckistan. Thanks for the great products."

Jgb@tree - use your index finger on your right hand to hit the paddle instead of breaking your grip and hitting it with your thumb like you would with a button release. (If you're not already doing that.)

Understood, thanks. Am already doing that, but muscle memory is a bitch. Just need some more trigger time w/ it and i'm sure it'll become second nature.... eventually.

Funny...that's exactly the "evolution" I went through. Still love my 92F but that VP9 is so easy, predictable and consistent that my better half actually enjoys shooting it. And she's half the size of a hobbit.

Installed a 3lb single stage vortex trigger into my AR carbine today, stupid easy. Really nice improvement although its not as sweet as the Timney in my LR .223.

Day off, running errands, finally got time to stop by a local gun shop to see about some handguns and they had just got this in. It came home with me.

I got my gun fag on today at work. Practicing draw and reholster with my Glock 21/Kenai Chest Holster setup. I'm the 2nd dude, 1 st shooter is the bossman.
How's the Kenai working? Worth the price? It looks pretty cool especially when wearing a pack.

I love it but I helped design it. I think it's worth the money but again, I'm a little to close to the source to be objective. :-) Perhaps Harry or The Rev can chime in?

I will tell you that we plan on having a Black Friday sale and if that doesn't work for you I'm happy to to give you a Maggot discount code.

Works great with a pack. I hike a lot alone in griz country, I usually have a day pack with a goretex shell and the 10 essentials. This holster is perfect.

I'm short on time but all I can say is the Kenai is like titties, steak and a relaxing bj afterwards. Except it's a holster that holds firearms.

Pretty sure you could have a plan afterwards. Running away, calling 911, hitting him with a bat, going to get a real gun, stealing his drugs, maybe take a selfie with him: whatever you want.

Finally got around to getting the RPR (.308) setup. Vortex PST 6-24x50 FFP on a YHM riser & rings. Love the concept and execution of the gun. Gonna go dial it in @ 250yd at my club on Friday as there really isn't anything longer than that unless you know someone with private land or drive 3+ hours to the nearest 500yd+ range.

Next project (already in progress) is putting a post 64 model 70 into a chassis so it can be fed with AI mags. Receiver & a new Krieger barrel are currently with my local smith to install the barrel and cerakote the receiver and barrel. Chassis is on order from Applied Weapons Tech, but probably wont be done until Feb/March.

    http://appliedweaponstech.com/produc...cision-chassis

    Should be a fun gun!
