The Jessie James design seems to have an interesting angle and theory on suppressors.

Cool. So my dad is sitting around after evening chow somewhere in Sicily and Capt. Shunstrom comes up and ask's "Who wants to go pick up some Germans?" Dad thinks moving some POW's might be something to do to kill time and say's he'll go. The evening proceeds with him crawling through the brush and rock up a hillside with his face blackened. The night ends with him giving cover with his M1 for Shunstrom who sneaks up onto the top of a pill box, tosses in a grenade and then shoots the Germans in the back of the head with his .45 as they stumbled out. Not sure if it was a Remington or Ithaca. Very effective at close range. Poor Capt. Shunstrom. Ended up with a undeserved Dishonorable discharge for beating up a superior in a bar fight and died a homeless alcoholic in Buffalo, NY when he was 52. The undeserved discharge was reversed posthumously and his medals restored.

^^^nice pistol but the link doesn't work. Why 9mm though?

You should probably state your state, maybe what you have for grips too.

    Does the link work now?

I am in TX but will ship it to someone's FFL. Grips are the ones that came with the pistol. Got in a trade and want to sell it. I am a fan of 9mm because you can carry more bullets and cheaper to shoot.

Scotty, that .22 pistol looks fun. Is it supposed to look like a little 1911 or something?

Looks like an ATI. GSG makes them, and ATI imports them to the US. Sig's a reasonable guess though, as I'm about 95% certain that GSG makes the Sig 1911-22 for Sig.

Very fun little gun. Although for .22 pistol plinking, the Ruger SR-22 is my hands down favorite. Definitely worth checking out looking for a .22 pistol.

JGB is correct, its one of the GSG 1911 guns. I looked at the Sig but its twice the price. Read online that GSG has good quality and shoot well so I shall see. I still want another full size 1911 in .45, waiting to see what the nu local gun shop turns out before I pull that trigger.

I do like what I hear but have yet to hold one and have huge hands so that's a big factor for me.

Are both the Sig and GSG 1911-22s full 1911 size? The appeal to me is the ability to replicate the feel (before pulling the trigger obviously) of a 1911 without the expensive ammo.

Same here, I tried several of the newer .22 autos and they just do not fit my meat hooks. Hence I went with the 1911 which I really like and fits my glove very well.

    Yes, they are full size.

New neighbors had a yard sale and I walked away with a 1975 Browning Citori Special Steel 20ga, 28in barrel, full over modified. $350.00. This thing is a beaut.
