Needless to say he is in a women's Salomon quest 70 now. All 160 pounds of him.
If boots are even 2 size to big they are basically impossible to flex even in lighter flexes......

Watched some little ski school grom chewing on the foam padding of his goggles the other day while riding up the lift. Munching on it.

I was sitting around the ICU many moons ago when a nursing supervisor came by looking for an extension cord. Apparently they had overdosed a psych patient on barbiturates and put him in the padded room where his heart stopped. The defibrillator had no juice in the batteries and the nearest outlet was out in the hall. I asked why they hadn't just dragged him out in the hall rather than run around the hospital looking for an extension cord. "Because he's too dangerous." (If you want to know why I don't have a lot of faith in the ability of the medical establishment to handle Ebola, it's because of stories like this.)
Kind of a necropost, but wtf kind of ICU doesn't have power available in the rooms? I was in one the other day after some friends rolled a Miata off a cliff and I've never seen so many outlets in my life.

Sorry about your friends. No--the ICU had outlets but the padded room on the psych ward didn't.
Same hospital, there was a power outage and we found out that the ICU isolation rooms weren't on the generator power. We had to hand bag several ventilator patients for hours. (It was an old hospital--the isolation rooms were probably never intended to be patient care rooms. Don't worry, it's all been replaced with new buildings.)

    Ah gotcha.

The guys are actually ok, roll bar in the car saved their asses despite rolling 10 times and ending up so far down a crane couldn't get the car out. Concussions, contusions, and some stitches, but both guys were out of the hospital within a couple days.

    Not really a quote.
I saw a husband and wife decked out in brand new arcteryx hard shells. It was snowing and they weren't wearing their hoods and hadn't cinched them in, so all the snow was just getting caught in there 100% water proof $500 snow catchers.

Saw the jeans out today. Odd, since it's a weekday. Dude was attempting to shred under the lift leaning way back and on the verge of careening out of control. Jeans may have even been tucked into boots. It wasn't a full pow day, but there was fresh snow everywhere.
The whole thing looked really uncomfortable.

Meh. I hate wearing a hood. The only time mine is on my head is when the snow is close to rain and I am on the lift, other than that the thing is flopping in the breeze behind me. Are you the hood Monitor? Sounds like you're jealous of their steeze.

Yeah, I'm pretty impressed that you had a chick at the ratbagger lodge, but what I really want to say is that I hope you never, ever change even one letter of your signature line:
