Gorgeous day for a trail run in the foothills. I just might have to go do it again tomorrow. Pattern change is scheduled for three weeks out now yeah?

This sucks. Riding mtb is fun but the trails are dry and blown out. I feel better now

Yeah, and my pattern of Mtn biking and staying 'skinnier' will end...

Bama has already lost and it's been proven countless times that it doesn't matter anymore.

SW flow storm but at least some snow and colder. Wolf Creek might get a start on their base this weekend.

A couple inches of snow in the foothills is going to do wonders for trail conditions. Bike season's still going strong with no end in sight.

Can't lie, as a person with a job driving a rather large truck all over Summit and CCC, I'm loving this weather.

Yep, looks like a Classic Wolf Creek Only storm with SW flow. Most resorts in Co don't get any snow with SW winds. It shuts it down. Sometimes a piece of energy might break from the storm an create localized wind conditions + instability that might result in a few inches of snow but generally speaking this next storm does not look ideal for most places in Co.

Its still early. Id like to see a season starting storm (2-3 feet) around thanksgiving...

Not so sure about CB and SW flow, probably more the Elks?

    Thinking CB likes NW?

Last night in the SW the temps stayed near 60 degrees all night, freezing level at over 12 thousand. The storm is warm so far, rain is in the forecast, then snow. Mild, mild fall. Very boring weather wise.

NW is the devil in CB, it's like SW for Vail

Long range for NOV looks meh, but it's long range.

^^^^ November doesn't look like it will provide much snow but it is early. December could break loose!
