Yeah, these T-bar guys are a welcome addition to the EC scene. I'd still like to check out their first movie:
They were supposed to come over this way and get some footage from Lyndon Outing Club for that movie. However, there was almost snow here two years ago when they were doing filming. I think LOC was open for a grand total of 12 days that year.
I'm really trying to forget that year

Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.</p>
Full film is due out in November. Pretty impressive and I promise never to bitch again on the boot pack.

Wow, awesome trailer. I like how the narrative seems to have a little more depth than a bunch of pro ski bums talking about how great the snow is, and how rad that line was.
The Out on a Limb film looks absolutely awesome. i still remember the first time i met Vasu out and about, and i just couldn't believe his greatness on so many levels.
still can't. glad a film has been made.
wonder if they had him ski that verbotten chocs gully pictured with a sunrise on it... i think MHF did it many years ago and the park got kinda angry about it showing up in a big film.

Super tempting. I once toured to the top of it from the grand cuve. Long walk but i wanted to look down it. Would have loved to ski it, but didn't seem worth the risk of getting caught. Nice looking line from the top, but there are dozens of others in and around albert that are similar or better, imo.
Anyone see the thingy on yahoo that lists the states with the drivers that are the most rude and those with the least and in between? Out of our zone, nh and maine are the least rude and vt, ny, and mass are the most rude.

I saw it on USA Today's site. They must have only surveyed people who have been to Burlington where 80% of the population are MA, NY, and NJ transplants.
In this part of VT, I'm constantly annoyed by the overly polite drivers. When turn left you can't even wait for the first three cars to clear the intersection before the fourth stops and tries to wave you through your turn.

Well if you'd get the eff outta the passing lane we'd be a lot nicer. *middle fingah*

Not gonna lie, SoMe coast is pretty bad when it comes to impatient drivers. Locals and tourists.
Tim Semple has a nice buncha stories about Kennebunkport... mostly they point out something like this:
Tourist: Where are you from?
Mainer: Kennebunkport
Tourist: Oh that's marvelous.
Miner: It was.
My Wife and I drove back to Boston from Rockland. Godamme if I go straight South from there again!
^^^^^^the climbing route in the far climbers right corner of patroller bowl?
Fanstastic line. Wicked rollover to barely covered frozen waterfall to wide open bowl. Once we were exiting that line and a black bear was bounding in a mad running traverse acrooss mid slope below the heavily corniced ridge and was setting off heavy wet slab sluffs the whole way. Pretty cool.
Or do you mean bowl just to the north behind patroller? Such great terrain.
Received Powder in the mailbox this afternoon. Kind of a lame write up on the Chic Choc's from my perspective.
I've found that many of the articles of the place don't do it justice. It's either wowing up hogsback, mines, or some low angle glades. Not that those aren't decent skiing, but there's soooooo much more stuff with wicked easy access.
