We passed the one in VA the other day on the way to the beach, I told the wife I need to stop quickly on the way back so I can snap a pic and forward it to BD so he can work his photo shop magic.

Speaking of BD, did you leave something behind the last time you were in VA? Fits 2 beers easily, very handy for the beach.

After securing myself on the bush, I took my skis off my pack with my boots already clicked into the bindings. Boots already in the skis, can't be too hard to get in, right? WRONG. Lace up liners! Complete pain in the ass to get into, even moreso with the shells already clicked in. I struggled a good 10 or so minutes until I finally got them on.

Perhaps I'm just the biggest gaper on here, but has anyone else ever tried putting their boots on while clicked into their skis and above the line/exposure? At no point in my life have I ever tried to do this - am I missing out on some awesomeness of which I am not even aware?

JONG!!! Everyone knows putting boots on while already attached to skis is standard protocol in wolf territory. Eliminating the time wasted in clicking into bindings allows one to be more alert. Most wolf-on-skier attacks take place during the transition phase...
