Sadly there is little snow in the Hinterlands yet. But you can always go for a bike ride, even if it is a little wintry:

Would have been a long walk or really hard on the skis. That was the snowiest section of trail, most of it was wet, muddy, rocky, totally suited for a fatbike. Kind of a workout for a geezer like me. Originally Posted by Vt-Freeheel

This ^ picture reminds me of riding at Eagle Ledge in the 90's.

chilly is right. 30 degrees for my 13 mile commute home from work at 8pm last night. not nearly as cold as the commuting will be in a month or two, but still..........time to grow the beard back!

22 deg this morning and hard frost/freeze overnight.
The question is will the 2fer get used at Killington tomorrow or should I just hike locally for turns?
I'm glad I swapped the mower deck for the snow plow on the tractor.

Teasing? ON TGR? Oh come on, now. If you try a fatbike you will be hooked. Like fatskis, they open up a whole new world of possibilities and are surprisingly versatile. Conditions were very "early 90s" as we were riding on a XC ski trail that gets little use or maintenance. 11 degrees right now. Hardest frost of the season. Looking like the snow may be coming. Decent base down now for whatever falls on top. Earned turns should be sweet.
