Try to imagine how psyched I am for this season:

On the last day of last season (April 14th, quick weekend bender to Utah), I suspected I may have cancer. Let's just say, I had pain and there was a bit of an odd little bump on "righty." A few doctor's appointments confirmed it.

    Surgery 1: June 9th
Surgery 2: July 16th (google RPLND... not a fun surgery)
Chemotherapy cycle 1: 5 straight days starting August 20th
Chemotherapy cycle 2: 5 straight days ending September 21st

I'm f---king down with chemo. Now, my expectation is that my hair will be back on my head just when ski season starts for me.

So my last season ended with "F, I think I have cancer" and this season is going to begin with "F yeah, I'm done with cancer!"

Bring on the mother f--king snow!

Dude sacrificed the big C to Ullr. If that doesn't get some sky props, I don't know what will!

Thinking about someone specific right now though too- another soldier fighting that fight right now... Don't want to say his name here in case he doesn't want it said, but I'm pulling for you bud and I know you'll see this eventually. Seriously. Get well and hurry back broseph, I'll save you some freshies!

We can even say "I gave my right nut to Ullr" and it wouldn't be far off (and 90 lymph nodes, but who's counting).

Sucks! Awfully easy to break those if you hit them at the right (wrong) angle.

The aberration that was last season kept my days north rather low..... fully intending on making up for it this year. I think the last piece of ginger candy just fell from being stuck in my teeth, I need to reload!

Sorry to hear about the illness and injury, hope all is well for the season.

Nice to see the sun today after the dark week we just had. Good thing is the pattern is better for snow in the upcoming months.

Looks nice out the window today
