    Thanks for all the advice. We'll probably be heading out peak 6 tomorrow.

    Inbounds snow was suprisingly very good Thursday. Wind was loading up the runs off the tbar and peak 7 summit.

    Does breck offer a backcountry pass that's good for just one trip up the hill?

    No. I'd join you but I have a bike race at Vail. Because of the wind take a close look at the snowpack and slopes and probably go for the 2 SE facing slopes coming down from near the peak of 6. Things are definitely very unstable around the cornices and heavily wind-loaded areas. My friend set off a good slide on Peak 9 today.

    We ended up skiing baldy. It was a great half day trip for out of town JONGs. Low angle, knee deep snow, and great views of Breckenridge.

    Thanks to all the friendly locals that pointed us in the right direction.

    Hello, all. I'll be in Summit Feb 21-Mar 8, and would love get a couple days on some safe ish terrain if anyone can meet up. Baldy works for me.
