He doesn't look too happy in this first pic. Will his fur grow longer/thicker?
Maybe he's not used to the cold. You should get him one of those darling little doggie coats...

    Makes total sense!

BTW, Weather has been lagging off the models. We see a lot coming in, then llllllllaaaaaaaaaggggggg out and not much. North of Tahoe seems to be a little snowier.

That dog is awesome! So cute!

If any SLT skiers/riders are interested in practicing some tricks on a trampoline, Tahoe Gymnastics is trying to get an adult class going Mondays from 7:30-8:30 - the first class is December 5th and is free! I don't work for them, but I did use their trampolines to get my 3s dialed last year and I shooting for a backflip this year. It is a great safe way to practice. Hopefully we'll be in the midst of ski season by Dec 5th, but come out and try it for free, even if your legs are toast! Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions!

Awesome PD. I'll probably go to open gym this Sunday.

Also, I'm interested in hiking and skiing next Monday if you're heading out. Need more weekday partners.

Wow. Streetview of resorts. That's kind of cool. How do I get the job as the camera dude? How cool would it be to ski around every resort in North America with a teletubby camera rig on your back/head?

Was looking forward to a weekend of better snow, but it's looking like the WROD at Squaw, and/or Mt. Rose (if they open). Damn.

Maybe dress warm and get back on the mountain bike...

I hear you - I had been watching the weather and looking forward/hoping for anything like last year. Oh well. Maybe I will just go climbing in the Valley instead.

Edit: Man, this week/weekend last year was unreal. Was just looking at some pictures. Ugh.

I mean, even hucks were in....

Just got back from a nice, warm low-altitude MTB ride. In a T-shirt.

Might be time to go hit some of the Carson Valley MTB trails. There's still snow in the holiday forecast, but in "meh" quantities.

Squaw WROD rumor mill says Red Dog and Exhibition. I seem to recall this opening from two years ago with dirt at the top. Perhaps a little better this time around.

    Nice photos, UCL.

Stay in the Bay Area and put the hurt to the dirt? Or head back to to Tahoe immediately after Thanksgiving for some mediocre skiing?

Incidentally, I did a Wilderness First Aid Course with ASI this weekend, and would highly recommend the BC folks here try it at some point. Learned lots.

Yes, dirt up top. Looks even thinner than 2 years ago though. I wonder how that bottle neck will be 1/2 down before the training area. LOL.

Anyone been up in the Mt Rose area around Incline Lake or the Radio Towers? Much snow? or just rocks still?
