Wasn't entirely as horrible as I remembered just super boring. It seemed like a busy Magic day & I was told it was 1/12 the crowd they have on a weekend ski day.

Lol, yeah the GNAR game wasn't directed at you at all- just blabbering in general. Don't mind me over here...

It seems to me that, West or maybe Hickory would be the most convenient for all and truly "neutral territory". I mean how many Albany mags are there?

If you triangulate from the land of no Rs, VT, CNY, guidoville, erm I mean NYC/NJ and PA, the Albany area is equally non-convenient. For ME and NH it's even less so.

I told myself that I'd make it to both a Summit and Magic this season though, haven't done either, so two birds one stone.

/opinion from guy thats only ever skied with one other maggot and never goes to any events

i think Midd would be a good alternative if the venue is still TBD.
Again, it's a dry ski area, so we'd need to BYO.
anyone who skis with me knows i'm quite ok with that

would be good for bluebird and bumpskier to get a real day off for the summit,
a nice way for EC maggots to say 'thank you' to Magic Mountain.

I second Hickory. Great mountain. Dry though- beers and bourbon in the parking lot.

It's perfectly acceptable at Hickory to have beers and bourbon around the circular fireplace or out on the deck.

I dont intend to bring anything more to a thread promoting east coast skiing, because its garbage, and you east coast loyalists need to be countered. Eat shit, fuck stick.

haha, i was getting annoyed that a summit was being planned already...thinking folks need to chill, but now i see wassap.
mfallen doesn't realize it's not a region that's garbage, but only one's (lacking) skillz...
poor baby likely has no friends to ski with either, thus the clear evidence of infantile acting out...waaahh.

you mtnbiker: sent you a text yesterday. snow's coming. let's touch base soon. make plan.

Donating his brain and his dick to science, since he's clearly never used either one.

Since you have probibly never left the east.... Research top 20 resorts in North America for any criteria you like. The east coast will be lucky to land 2 spots in the bottom half. Unless your searching for family vacations...

mfailin reads SKI magazine! What you've written here is the most efficient possible way you could have revealed to everyone on the internet that you're 13 years old. As a grown up who's been through those difficult years I have some advice for you:

    1) Read more and write less, because at the moment the only message you have the ability to convey is how stupid you are.
    2) Go find some titties in the Padded Room and jerk off. You'll feel better.

    haha,
it also appears the laddie has been dragged on family vacations to slowkemo or flatton or someother lame spot and has little to base his opinion, but for SKI magazine. i bet they didn't let him wander beyond the green trails either (or do #2 above)

So, you can call some stupid all you want, but you still have not refuted the fact that East Coast resorts have less vertical, less snow, and flatter mountains (or are they hills?). But hey, by all means keep the crowds out of the west.

McFlailing, I'm so bummed to hear all of this!!!

And to think we've all been having such a great time over all these years.

Now that we are up to speed (thanks to you), we promise not to have any more fun. No one will enjoy skiing the great snow we often get, the friendships we make, and getting outside at least once a week.

Oh yeah, does this mean we won't see your sparkling persona at this years east coast summit?!

How could I even think about skiing when I'm so concerned about you? Have you been torturing small animals? Having violent or sexual fantasies about your little sister?

We just want you to know that if you need help, there are people on the Internet who care about you, even if you're a useless little turd sniffer with no prayer of making a contribution to society. On TGR we take care of most pitiful members, even if they read SKI magazine. OK, Kiddo?

So...On the west coast......We general carry out a debate by one person stating an opinion/fact/point of view, then the other person goes next by stating why that point of view is incorrect or stating a new method of thinking that is relavent to the debate. Or I guess you could just accuse your opponent of beasteality.....

I'm simply making a claim that the West has better skiing mountains than the east. Thats not to say the East doesnt have good skiing (I know I said garbage, I was just trying to offend those who disagree with my claim). I meant no offense to East Coast skiiers who agree with me but still enjoy skiing in the East.
