After a year or so of suckling on the ski info teet that is TGR, it's time that I reciprocate and try to contribute something of value here. God knows what that'll be as I'm kind of a simpleton but we'll see...
Anyway, I'm full of shit, sarcasm, and a love for skiing so I feel like I might fit in here. I guess we'll see about that too...
never really ventured deep enough into tgr's website to find this forum. seems very nice!
Been lurking so long I could not even remember if I had registered and posted before. I figured it was about time I said Hello to all.
I'm exclusively an ice coaster so my TR's won't impress most of you with their awesomeness. I am out there 50+ days a year in the worst conditions the east can deliver so maybe I'll at least be able to make you laugh one day with a lame TR.
I have a serious gear addiction. I don't even know how many pairs of skis I have. I spend every last dime I have to spend time on snow. I alpine ski, snowboard and telemark. I've made turns at every ski area in VT at least 20+ times except Stratton, Cochran's and Quechee in the 25 years since my husband taught me to ski. I am a Maggette but there will be no naked pictures fothcomming. Sorry.
Now go ahead.....JONG away
I suppose it's time I hide my first post in here... I'm a skiing noob but we all start someplace I guess, I mostly like to read things around here and learn things...but mostly I just get confused...oh well. Hi.
ahhh, finally joined up. can't wait to share 08-09 season stoke from the Bozeman neighborhood! I'll see you all around teh internets and up in the hills, too.
cheers!
Sup. I'm a lurker, but I guess I need a name if I come across any of you fools in person.
grew up down the road from a small east coast area with 2 j-bars and 1 t-bar... it took about 30 seconds to make it down and it was owned by a Norwegian guy named Fifi... there were speakers playing the radio station onto the slopes... was the best
Learned to ski at Sno-py as a kid, home mountain is Crystal
Been lurking too long. I've skied with maggots, mountain biked with maggots, and drank beer with maggots - seems I ought to be a maggot. One maggot uses a picture I took.
Third year with a k'wood pass now. I don't ski cliffs.
Well so much for jumping right in, I never was very good at reading the instructions thow lol. So whats up, Im from Borque NM grew up skateboarding, I love to ride snowboards, have been for about 8 yrs, home mountain is sandia but it sucks so I drive north to Wolf Creek on the weekend. I saw this future video last weekend and Teton Gravity was on it so I came to check it out, Pretty cool place.
You can't change the past and the future is a figment of your imagination, so where does that leave us? well... Jump!
Like many, lurked and now posting. Spend my time chasing snow and working in resorts in different hemisphere's. Grew up skiing in Aus which resembles EC mounds for those who have never had the pleasure.
Grew up skiing in Colorado, mostly at Breckenridge before there was a Vail, etc. etc. Lived in Breckenridge for a while as did both of my brothers, the oldest seems stuck there. If you ever see a massive reunion of old farts at the Gold Pan (aka Bed Pan) you'd find us crawling around. I went to college in Gunnison in the 70s - "ski Wasted State and pick up a degree in your spare time." Now I live in NE Washington State although I get back to Colorado yearly. I'm heading down the AT path and hoping to pick up a few tips here. Hopefully the conga line of shit slinging baboons will have mercy on this ol' geezer.
Ma tawit me to lurk both ways...ups and downs, didn't worx too well in Nebraska, but nows I lurks purty gud on Baker.
first post.
I've never skied outside of MN. I go to a ~250' hill of man made snow 4-5 times per week. I drive a saab 900. I'm a poor high school student who is very soon to be a poor college student. I have never spent more than $50 on a pair of skis. I have an old pair of delaminating Volkl p50's, a pair of old K2 enemies, and a pair of rattle can flat black Head "thebigeasy" rock skis. I ski in $25 dalbello boots that people on epicski told me will have bolts fall out the canting system and almost kill me.

Hello,
The is my first post after lurking for a few months. I ski at Apex and try to get to the kootenays and revy/golden at least once a season. I grew up skiing back east. I've never skied in the US but plan to in the last 2 weeks of March this season. It snowed 31cm in the past 48h at Apex.
Bye,
Dave
I like to drink beer and ski powder. No wait, I like to ski powder then drink beer.
Hey all. Apparently I signed up a while ago, but never got around to posting... but this place looks funAfter living in NJ most of my life, and being a long time Killingtonite I finally made it out west where the real snow is! I ski & snowboard, and I think I'll probably be getting even more obsessed with snow sports now.
I like to ski. Hailing from MN and living in CO. Ski Winter Park mostly.

Lurking for years have posted before under previous names. Back on this board.
A little about myself. Been in Denver for a while, before that lived in SW Colorado. Originally from Chi Town (years and years ago).
Been on Tele since 1996 and have never looked back. Ski the Jane and Copper but mix it up as well.
Good to be on this board!
