I would suggest just using the picture and "Change for a nickel" copy. It is still a fitting memorial for Nils due to the picture. As for any profits, I would suggest letting his family decide. Just my 2/100th of a $

I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...

Yes, I'm going to let his family/friends decide if they should decide to go through with this. I'll take care of everything, including the mailing, etc, and someone else can accept the money for me as a ombudsman.

    I agree, keep it simple.

    I'm most definitely in.

Thanks for taking the lead on this ryank.

Nice job man. Looks great - I personally I think his name and the years are very important.

    Love it.

One more vote for just his real name and years at the bottom, nothing else.
Chop the whole "got change" white area, leave just the image area, and replace "in memory of..." with name and years.

I think the understated black/white is sick just as it is.

Working on some variations now. I want to go with vinyl cutouts, but it'll be hard to get this cut out in white. If anyone has any ideas, I'm open to suggestions on coloring.

I'm sure whatever the final sticker is will be great; I'm not inclined to express any further opinions.

    Thanks again.

Here's four variations. Figured out how to get the cutout to look good in white over dark.

Great idea, I would love a few.

I'm inclined to agree with yossarian. The image, his name, years. "Change for a nickel" is good and all, but lets focus on the man.

I think in the end, I'll have two versions - 1 black and 1 white - both vinyl cutouts.

    I'm leaning towards "simple" too.

    Dope.

Love em all either way, thanks for the solid work and effort.

Can I convince you to see what it would look like if the upper right didn't have the "change for a nickel" part?

EDIT: and what Beaver said below.

    My $0.02

How about simply "Nils 1975-2007" or "Nils Nissen 1975-2007."

I think "in memory of" is redundant with the date printed.
I also don't think the nickel needs to be there.
