Oh yeah LB - full leather. The snowfields are ankle height leather and the 'Extremes' (I think that's what they are?) actually have the blasphemous buckles and are maybe 10" tall. Just about a half generation before the Supercomps.

Now, if i could just mount some tele binders on the 204 K2 Extremes I'd be the Team Extreme dude. I really need to get a bota though...

NICE! Go ahead and rock the buckles, that's not cheating (holy shit am I glad I no longer own leather boots), any surplus store will have botas and Sportsman's has em for real cheap.

I can probably share some carlo rossi with ya.

Edit- Squatch- Hamm's is a million times the beer that flat tire is.

Consider it!? Why... that'd be sacrilege, I tell you. Those skis would never talk to me again.

What kind of an inconsiderate ass do you think I am?

    Just kidding.

PM if your foot is close to an 8 for Marker Rotomats/MRR's - cuz I won't remount the boards.

Hmmm... need to find binders for my 2-0-something red sollys that I took the plates off of...

I'll be there with or without long boards. Looking forward to meeting you, LB (despite the likely lack of mutual sentiment).

NO MAX, no 2 oh something: 210+ they're easy to find.

And try not to feel slighted if you've never met me, I've "known" brett for nearing a decade and have met him exactly….once.

Hmmph... I don't fit into the category of females?! Not sure I'll participate then. Don't exactly feel like buying something that I'll use for a single day and then probably never again (other than a prostitute). Squatch, could I mount your shit up?

Don't feel slighted? Why would I?

Oh, I think I'll be rockin' buckles all right - the 1983 TNTs have four apiece and they fit just right in the MR48s that adorn the Extremes... plus the orange really sets off my purple tights and yellow sweater.

I might just have to endure the heckling and pass on the aerial manuevers despite the inadequacy of my meager 204s. I'm not sure I'm ready to tele in leather boots either. Remember, I'm old and brittle.

you two should discuss that in private

you sounded a little like slighted, no worries.

Everyone needs some longboads in their quiver, I can't believe that I'd have to explain to you of all people the need for just one more specialty ski. Otherwise, you can totally borrow some leathers from DJ or Zappa and rock out the under the "200+ rule for leather wearing telemarketers."

Go to Playitagain and get thee some skis, we're talking a twenty dollar investment here. Afterwards, if you don't want them I'll buy em from you for 10 and put them into a LBD quiver "trust" for anyone's use and you'll get first annual dibs on account of your "investment" in them.

PmcP- Man up, you need some LBs anyway I know.

Corn harvest? We still have another few weeks of pow skiing left. You telemark types really give up on the season early, eh?

well, maybe ok if I could get some 223s for $20. I figure some real DH boards would be super fun.

LBD saved my trusty old Elan RC's from certain Adirondack-chair decomissioning.

They will now enjoy an honorary quiver slot, as I intend to ski them one day each season...LONG BOARD DAY!

X 2 on leather 3 pin loaners from me.
Snowfield sz 8 - Ankle high
Extreeme sz 8.5 (I think) - Lace up all the way
    Both with original yellow laces...

and I got a pair of really vintage AT boots - like 1st edition plastic. I think they're San Marcos(?) prolly early/mid 80's, low height (like 10") with built in gator cuffs.

Any body know Kirk "Cap'n Kirk" Jorgensen from LL/ clear creek cnty. He's got tons of this old shit and maybe he'd rent...

    Edit:
Does this count or is it cheating:

Looks like a pair of 2 oh somethings streched to classify.

i think it was ruled as "fair" but not preferable.

210, don't be a puss and mount some tips on your tails. you wouldn't stuff your condom to get your cack from 5.5" to 6"... or would you?

hey, if they're 210 or longer: many. Otherwise...not so much.

Pshyced on some harts. My wife is totally going to kill me if I come home from this thing with 3 extra pairs of longboards. And...that's a risk I'm willing to run.

Does this "rule" apply to a pair of 203 Rossi ST's mounted with WWII vintage Silveretta's (think: bear trap / cable style) in combo with some old Vasque leather hiking boots? - the original AT rig of choice.

Disclaimer: After review of the mostly "old junk quiver" in my possession, I've come to the conclusion that most of it qualifies for LBD. > (or maybe that should be one of these: )

    Zappa-

Indeed, I think that you will easily meet the criteria on that rig, although you might need to rock some knee high wool socks + lederhosen.

    Telemike- excellent.

Also, an offer: the more I think the more I believe I'm going to pull the alpine's off a set of collectables (Strato 102s) for the event (won't loan those though), which will free up my 217s for anyone to tele on that feels like using a set of modern boots/bindings.

bought a stick of warm was for the skis on Sat.
