thanks- i'll keep that in mind. A Siberian Husky Kazak hooker named el Mariachi would definately take the gold when it comes to originality.

Oh man, Mariachi is as cute as they come. I just want to pick him up and feel that puppy looseness.

Axe- looks like you got as lucky as I did with your lab... both of ours are rescues (one from Denver, one from Grand Junction).

They're the best (Talley left, Yoshi right):

    They love each other:

Yoshi and Salomon need to have a dock jumping contest. Yoshi had to duck underneath a crossbar before he could jump this dock:

It's really priceless, isn't it? It was probably one of the best days of my life. He's the best dog...I think they realize that they've gotten a second chance and appreciate it all the more...

    Here's another dock jumper...

I wish I had that dock to practice with... I know Yoshi can easily hang with the "world class" jumpers. He needs to pay rent somehow.

The family cabin is pretty handy... but when you live in Minnesota, there's plenty of docks to jump off! He won't go into the water any other way - even if you throw something in 10 feet off shore, he'll run to the end of the dock, leap off, and swim back in to get his toy. Even if he's jumping from shore, he still tries to enter the water like he's leaping off a dock - it's a riot!! Sometimes he even does in in snow banks!

I'd almost like to entertain taking to one of those competitions just to see how he'd do...

    Thumbs up

    It's about time I played.

    My dogs: 9 y/o Bella:

    And 4 y/o Paco

Paco and I at "work." He has turned into one helluva a hunting dog--upland and waterfowl, he absolutely kills it!

Paco opens 'em, I close 'em!

Hey Rev - we just got Paco's long lost Twin! Say hello to Angus:

95# neutered Chocolate Lab. 2.5 years old. Was being fostered at my friends' kennel and we fell in love. He came home with us on Sunday.

I haven't posted for a while in this thread, so here or some varied pics of Angus. He's about 75 lb's and is about to be 11 months old.
This one's really old, I think the second day we got him:

These two are from the big 3 foot storm we received in December:

    These are all from today:
