Anybody Hang Out in Second Life?

Can't help but think how cool it would be if we dominated the skiing end of the place. Build a mountain, a lodge, sell passes and have virtual summits for everyone who can't make the real ones.

    Finally, Maggot Mountain could happen.....

I dunno. I haven't hung out there, but it seems everyone's staking a claim, from what I've read, building an empire and getting lots of virtual sex. The place even has miscreant trolls that stir shit, just like here. I posted up a New York Times story about a guy whose wife was divorcing him because he married his virtual soulmate there. That was some funny shit.

But if it is going to last and continue to grow, I was kinda wondering if someone here had the nerdness to build a ski resort.

And rideit, don't limit yourself....you can do Bro rocketblades there.
I'll license you the name, well, uh, virtually. heh.

The time part is where I can't see doing much. I haven't even downloaded the software. I kinda did a tour and bailed. Makes wonder why it's such a rave.
