Hey guys!
After a rather long hunt, my dad and I were able to find a lightly used Canon 20D, a model I fell in love with 18 or so months ago, and have borrowed from a buddy of mine from time to time.
One of my photog buddies praised the Sigma EX 50-150mm (Sigma 50-150mm F2.8 APO EX DC HSM) when I told him the news earlier today, as an all-round action lense. It´s a bit spendy, but not as bad as many Canons native lenses, and my dad´s experience with Sigmas is overall pretty good. (My dad is picky when it comes to glass)
About me, the photographer:
Not that experienced with action photography, but I like playing around with composition, lighting etc. I want to get into action photography, incorporating stuff I already know, so I guess I need beta on whether or not the Sigma is a decently fast objective, light strong (is that an acceptable English term? please, Norwegian mags, translate the word "lyssterk" for me) - should be good, given it´s numbers, and everything, really.
Any other recommendations would be cool.
Also, please question me if there´s anything I´ve forgotten to ask about.
