Lowest volume AT boot? Scarpa Magic/Laser same last?

Anyone know what the lowest volume AT boot is. After my week touring in Canada (Rogers Pass and Nelson, TR coming) and 3 days in the eastern Sierra's I'm convinced I need something other than Doberman's for long tours where much slogging is happening.

So, given my feet actually fit comfortably in Dobie's and I love how they ski I know I'm in for a tough search. What is the lowest volume AT boot out there? Preferable Dynafit compatible as my future lightweight chuting ski will be Dynafit equiped.

Is there a difference in the last between the Scarpa Laser and the women's Magic or is it just marketing?

Also, how tight do people go with the shell fitting on the AT boots? I have always gone one of my rather smallish fingers for Alpine boots, too tight?

Both boots should be the same last and the denali XT is stiffer than either.

Shell fit them just a bit bigger than the alpine boots, 1 to 1.5 fingers. NO more than 2 for sure.

I don't think the Denali is Dynafit compatible.

I've been told that Scarpa AT boots are not the right choice for lower volume feet, and that Garmonts were snugger. I've got skinny little feet, picked up Scarpa Denalis in the same size as my Scarpa T-races, and have more room than I'd like.

Not sure which, if any, Garmonts are Dynafit compatible.

Thanks for the opinions. I know the XT is stiffest, but its not Dynafit compatible. The reason I ask about the magic is its the women's version of the Laser and I have been told by some that its smaller. I already know the same size Denali is way too big for me. Would have to do something radical to get it to work...

    Keep the opinions coming.

You can make it Dynafit compatible, an article somewhere.

The Garmont MegaRide is low volume and Dynafit compatible.

I've got a low volume foot, and the garmonts fit much better than the lasers. The spectrum from low to high is garmont lowa scarpa i believe.

Have you looked at Dynafit boots?

But Garmont tele boots are widely regarded as being higher volume than scarpa's. I'm confused.

Which was why I thought I needed Denalis because Scarpa tele boots fit me properly. Based on my own experience, and what the shop guy told me, it ain't the case.

Garmonts were too narrow for me. Scarpas were too wide in the heel. Lowa fits right in the middle. Adequate toe box and snug heel.

Oddly enough, the guys are Pro Ski Services really slammed the Denali. They claim it has a stiff tongue, but is actually softer laterally than the Garmont or the Lowa.
