Sometimes I wonder why I don't eat more fiber. Then I eat lots of fiber and am reminded why I don't eat more fiber.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Bob Mc, I feel your pain, look at the posts tonight in tech talk- worst ever. Which ski fits my 27 reqs., how about some online boot fitting?

Though maybe because I'm sitting in the Super 8 in Fernley, NV it has affected me adversely.

On a more positive note there is that guy who posted in real estate melt down thread who is pretty brilliant.

For me, in a month I won't check in too much. I love that I obsessively lurk in a ski forum only when I don't ski.

I definitely think there are a lot of great, smart funny people here- you just have to sort through crap- almost like real life!

P.S. I think Jer rules these days, I love the glimmer of humanity I sometimes detect. (never thought I would say that!)

    Rant over.

P.P.S. Great beef tongue recipe in the crock pot thread.

Oh yeah, I don't know if I would be that eager to many mags but they might not be too eager to meet me either!

Trailer-trash whoring, or scoping out a good spot for the post-season Pepi's bash?

Hi, this is Boardy Skeezer, inviting all you more-core riders to come on over to the Ivory Mountain Ski Resort Extreme message boards and take our online personality test, phone interview and a make couple virtual reality runs with Rippin Rorschach before he shows you some killer slides and asks what you think of them.

Yes, that's right........we're the first ski forum message board to go psycho, well, um, psychological, that is. And technologically so. We care about how you feel about the people you'll be interacting with here at Ivory Mountain Ski Resort Extreme. We don't cater to jongs and delusional paranoiacs, trolls and electronic miscreants. We screen them out long before the password window pops up.

You want a forum of 18-30 year-olds who've traveled the world, raking in championship titles and movie footage, partying all nite with the hottest babes and ski studs on the planet? Where everyone is sponsored and has inside knowledge of every technical equipment advance ever made in the histories of skiing and snowboarding?

Face it, who wants to waste their time reading through endless drivel about such mundane things as what ski or board to ride, someone posting whether they should go to the hospital because they cut their carotid artery throwing their skis over their shoulder or how to hammer a deer to death.

At Ivory Mountain Ski Resort Extreme, you don't get any of that. Because of our partnership with Google, we already have a good idea of what you want from a ski forum. In addition, your mandatory personality profile gives us a completely secure vision on how our artificial intelligence virtual internet ski bum buddies, created right here in the snowy vaporware of Ivory Mountain, are matched specifically to you and your needs. You'll be ensured to get the stroke and stoke you've been looking for!

If Pepi's takes it out of town, we are taking it to Cactus Pete's in Jackpot. I'm delivering fancy furniture to a house at Squaw Valley, where I will be for half an hour. Then back to Jackson. Sorry no TR.

The ones I'm most fond of are those that slip under the radar, some person you've never noticed before, has well over 100 posts, sometimes 1000. You've never read anything they've written, and with the one post you read, yup, they're an idiot. You try and make sense of how this moron somehow made it to xxx amount of posts and nobody called him out on his idiocy. Sometimes I think this board has grown soft, hell, we have "Skiing" wishing to write an article about us, heh.

Then again, I probably wouldn't be the first person to voice this opinion on the board. But, I may as well be the latest. Or, perhaps I'm the moron, hmmm.
