    Volkl Bridge, Armada Arv, etc...

Im looking for some new skis this winter, these skis will be my all mountain (including trees and powder). Because i want some powder versatility i am really looking at skis that are at least 90 underfoot. I am 6'1" and about 180 and ski pretty aggressively. This ski will get split time out west and on the east. The bridges and arvs are two skis that have really caught my eye but i am open to other suggestions. Thanks alot.

I hear this seasons K2 Fours in a 148 REALLY FKN RIP, Bro. They will be perfect for skiing "pretty aggressively." I would suggest PM'ing iceman, he is the K2/Volkl rep and can hook you up!

I agree, but I feel like The Claws would be a better fit for "pretty aggressive" skiing.

They also have this cool effect where they simulate a DMT trip while skiing on them

Fascinating thread - we should have more like this one.

So you ski pretty aggressively, cowboy?

Mohshsihd, I think your free body diagram is incorrect. Look at the direction of Fg=gravity. It should be vertical, which means your free body skier is much more aggressive than he leads on, you have to increase Alpha to show Fg vertical, therefore, he's actually skiing a blue square instead of a green!

No idea what the bridges are like but ARVs are a good ski for a bit of everything. Kinda like Salomon Pocket Rockets but with a wood core instead of stupid foam. Carve well, float ok, light enough swing weight for the park. Noodle nose though.

The Bridge is really stiff so you'll be able to rip the big mountains out west with ease. Get it bro!
