Blizz Dukes - possible to mount flat?

Anyone know if the Blizzard edition Dukes is possible to mount on a normal ski without the Blizzard only rail system? Possible to modify?

I haven´t seem the Blizz-dukes in reality, or even in a photo, so excuse me if the question is stupid.

    I wouldn't do it...

You can also see the pics of Blizzu Duke here in Tech Talk... Yooper posted some pics of his rig a few days ago.

Given that attachment to the ski is accomplished by the rails and a single screw, ummm, no, you really shouldn't.

Anyone else find it interesting that Blizzard has this, but Volkl and K2 don't?

Looking at a pair the other day, not possible with out some serious work done on the binder. And you want to make someone really pissed off ask a K2 or Volkl rep about that.

no, considering that those other companies have their own systems too.

Sorry for being unclear. What I find interesting is that Blizzard has a system Duke, but Volkl and K2 have to settle for other Marker-based systems.

Ok. Hard to do then. I had hopes that it was just a addon plate to the binder, like Salomon "Pilot only" bindings of the last years or equal. There was a pair of Blizz Dukes around here for less than half the price of the normal version.

I really hope that other manufacturers stay far away from this. I hate system solutions that forces you to buy new bindings with the skis. Last years I liked Titan Pros. This year I don´t even go near Blizzards because of the rail shit.
