best deal in a saeson pass

Just paid a bunch for Alta season pass, What is the best deal on season pass in North America? Is it some Mom & Pop closed on mondays? Where is this gem hidden? What's the going rate? We are being priced out of the sport. PS Ive got the purple pass in the pack!

Mammoth MVP pass for 549 is pretty good when you consider it is 78 a day otherwise.

Whistler Blackcomb Student pass. $360. What is that now, 4 or so days and pass is paid. Skip out on winter quarter and live the dream. Every year, over and over and over.

Lookout Pass is fun to ski (although small) and is closed on Tue/Wed but their season passes are only $199 if you buy before Oct 31!!

Last year they had the best snow in the state.

Discovery Ski Area outside Phillipsburg MT. Very small, mom and pop with a nice backside. I bought a season pass during a six hour sale in the middle of last season. It was $200 and good for the remaining season and the upcoming year. I have never heard of a cheaper deal at any resort.

Could you buy that in nov or dec, as a student, then take winter off? That would be a great way to do it. I doubt there is any way they could really check.

Summit County CO probably has the best deals in terms of how may mountains you can ski on one pass, but the crowds are pretty intense. Sometimes you pay for the good stuff... Like no lines and good snow/terrain.

a friend has done it actually. she is taking the winter term off and skiing. the pass is available to anyone currently enrolled full time in a post secondary institution in either BC or Washington and be under the age of 25. when you pick up the pass from the mountain you just have to give them a printout of your schedule and show them a student card or something. once you have the pass though nobody will check up on you so it really doesn't matter.

Just got bumped to $229 yesterday. Still, it pays for itself in under 3.5 days.

I personally like the Colorado Pass at $409 purchased earlier this spring. Of course, I'm not as hardcore as most here needing tons of steeps.

Also, being a Reservist I get the Loveland season pass for $99!!!

For the amount of snow vs. amount of people, Targhee at $400 is pretty damn good.

Moonlight Basin is $375 for a season pass (if you're a college student). Thats really good when you consider that you can easily poach 90% of the good skiing in Big Sky with this pass as well, and no one cares, not patrollers or lifties of anyone.

Part time grad student graduating in december, so i signed up for 4 classes to get the requisite schedule printout, ID card, and letter from the registrar confirming full time status. Buy passes, drop 2 classes, graduate and ski.

Having paid $1K for a pass at Alyeska last year, I'm pretty pleased at my $399 unlimited pass at KW.
