    I think a maggot golf outing in Vegas would be sick over the summer. How many would be into this?

    Golf is fun, but, melting while you golf, is not.

    Great idea, and I know there are some killer courses in Vegas...

    But that's a loooong way to fly for a golf tourney.

    The reasoning for Vegas is this:

    5 hours from So Cal
    5.5 Hours from ewtah
    5-7 Hrs from Coloraddy

    Oh yeah did i forget to mention there is legal gambling in nevada, And other legal "activities"?

    Oh yeah and strip clubs?

    And the reason for golf is the fact that you can get drunk and compete. It's pretty hard to do that while biking single track, Unless you have "special" ability.

    lets rent a demolition derby track for a weekend, bring our beaters, get blasted, and see who the best/worst drivers are in this collective

    How about an EC maggot golf day somewhere? I'd totally be down for that. Tons of courses that are relatively inexpensive, a fair number of maggots, and reasonable weather for playing most days. I don't know what location would work best for you guys, but if it was just a day somewhere in the mid-Atlantic or northeast would make the most sense. However, if it was a multi day deal, Myrtle Beach would be good, tons of courses, lots of reasonable lodging, fairly nice beach.

    I'd be all over a Mid-Atlantic maggot golf day. I suck at golf, but it's still fun. The ever present bottle of scotch doesn't make me play any better, but I don't mind playing badly as much.

    According to golfcourse.com , there are 192 courses within 50 miles of me. We do have some sweet, sweet courses in the Mid Atlantic region. And very few of them are more than $75.

    There are a bunch of $35 or so courses in the Mid-Atlantic. Some of which even sell beer by the 6-pack (and supply soft sided coolers for said beer).

    Not that golf is all about the drinking or anything...
