Looking for a room at Mammoth

Well I just got a job offer from Mammoth so i'm looking for a room. I just wanna see what's out there besides the employee housing. Anyone have a room available? I'm a 24yo male college graduate originally from Minnesota. I'm looking for something until about april. Anyone out there wanna help a mag out?

I did a season out at mammoth last year... and from people I talked to, it's pretty hard to find reasonably priced decent accomodation there. The earlier you are out there, the easier it is to find a good deal- people try to unload them. I also think chicks have a slight advantage, as they're less expected to tear the place up. Good thing about employee housing is that you pay by the day, and you can leave whenever you want to. So you could move in for a few days until you figure something out, for as cheap as $9 a day (at least that's what it was last year). I'm currently working on a place, if I hear anything I'll let you know. I won't be out there till early december though. If you end up out there and find a place and need a roommate, let me know. Good luck.

I'll be moving out about Nov 1. I'll probably end up having to move into employee housing initially, for convenience. I would definitely be up for finding some people to split a place with though. What are you doing there for a job?

If you're going the emp. housing route, get yourself hooked up in one of the condos on Chateau Rd. I lived in there when I was working full time in the ski skool ["3" days a week =) --> water fountain trick works like a charm on Fridays] and it was the shit. As good as having your own place, but cheaper and with a built in crew -- usually knobs and Kiwis -- to live with minus the hassle of the dorm style housing bullshit.

That's a good question, I don't know yet for this year. Last year I was a bus driver, and I think I had my fill of that...
