    Pollard,
Nope- was hoping to this season, but never got around to it. Likely I will be up at Crystal due to $48 price @ Stevens and no late season deals. Definitely next year.

You coming up to Alpental on 4/17 or 4/18? Passholders can get spring tix for about $17. I'll be there if you're interestd (unless Utah gets a major storm- then I'm on the road...)

Crystal was freakin great today. GirlSki- were you hanging out with Elliott today? Saw him on the top of Silver King 'bout 2pm.
Went to chair 6 at 12:00- no nickels so kept motoring. Nice corn/slush into Silver Basin.

Pollard, yeah for next weekend prolly at Alpental both days. Toying with the idea of going up to Baker for Saturday; then Alp for Sunday. Also the thought of that potential utah storm has road trip written all over it- but we'll have to pay attention to the forecasts mid-week. Weather here should be changing- snow showers mid-week and temps dropping. Could get interesting...

    Thumbs up

sounds like a good close er' down weekend.

damn it's not even my home hill yet and i'm a little emotional about crystal closing. i'm sure the trips to hood and W/BC will distract me soon enough though. it's gonna be fresh to be up there!

Yep that was me...Had to get one last good hike in on the King...and one last good crash- I got a little hot coming into the compressions down the ridge to Silver Basin and blew up over the cornice...The part of Silver Basin that I skied was AWESOME! It was heartbreaking to see the lifts stop yesterday afternoon. Might be at Alpy next weekend, so maybe I will see you there!

I was there at 12:04-12:15. Did ya ever see an old fart hitting the bumps to viewers left of 6 at the top on fat planks?

Did 1 up the King and down Appliances: 'twas rattly, verhrhrhrhrhyyy rattly.

Sorry Buster, I took off on a chair at 12 on the dot- ran into a friend from Utah that randomly showed up for some Crystal laps and they only had two more runs before meeting up with the family. I knew I should have waited another minute or so

Hope you had a great day up there. Girlski- you have the TGR sticker on the helmet? Thought I recognized you or met during the Crystal Comp? I was going to follow you guys out toward teh center cornice, but snow looked too tempting off the immediate peak. But yeah- damn, Silver Basin was friggin' awesome. It was so hard to not drop the front side and part with Hourglass, Brain Damage, Pinball and the likes- but it just looked soooo much better on the backside- and it was.

I think a bottle of bubbly is in order for 5pm top of Chair Two at Alpy next Sunday with snow showers forecasted Tue-Sunday.

Yeah, TGR sticker and all. I was in the Crystal comp and you probably met me but between comp jitters, being drunk, and recovering from being drunk I was not really "all there" that weekend. Front side yesterday was super tempting and Elliot and I were tempted, almost, into pinball till we slapped poles onto it and they bounced right back into our faces. Wee bit firm...but a great day. Glad to hear you enjoyed it as well. Look for me at Alpy on Sunday, hopefully...

Yeah I almost dropped into Pinball, but that glaze wasn't looking so hot- figured it might be nice and windbuffed half way down- but why deal with crappy conditions on the top when Silver was so $ on the backside? Alpy on Sunday is going to be sweet. Hopefully a lot of people can make it up there (it's only $26 tix anyway!) and the lower elev. will keep it nice and soft.
