yes, it works. i mean i actually haven't shot any focused pictures with it yet, but it turns on and all the functions appear to work. i have taken blurry pictures without a lens. i can borrow a lens and take some samples if you're interested. the dude on ebay had a good rating. the price was low since it lost the $50 bump the basic lens would've given it.

~450 is a decent deal for a used rebel w/ basic lens on ebay. i have been scoping rebel xt 8MPs for ~2 months and finally was satisfied $380 was low enough. only to hit a brick wall of expenses and have to sell.

Did you really shoot it without the lens? You know that is probably a really bad idea, right? Dust on the sensor can kill that camera, and is a huge expense to remove.

I hope I am reading that wrong.
