Question about renting a place in SLC for a month?

Im graduating college a semester early in December and I'm thinking about coming out to SLC for the month of January to ski. My question is, what are my options for housing for a month? I know there are places like extended stay hotels but I was wondering if that is the most economical option. Am I better off staying for another two weeks in order to find cheaper housing? Any pointers here would be great.

if you bring enough meth out with you should be able to find a place for free in west valley (or sandy for that matter) + without sleeping, you'll have more time to ski, and who needs those teeth anyway?

Yea I'd love to but that would mean cutting ties with the girlfriend which I'm not quite ready to do yet.

if you are coming for 1 month, January will disappoint. Historically, it's the worst month in Utah for snow. If you can only stay for a month, do it regardless.

Walmart parking lot = first 2 weeks
3 hour program at any Lodge in Alta = next 2 weeks.

Find an employee who works up there, then ask them to get you in on 3 hour duty. Basically you work 3 hours a day in trade for room and board.

It's sick and most of the lodges do it, especially if it's snowing. they need shovelers. I did it at the pdog for close to a month. if you are a hard worker, they love ya. It's free labor for them.
