Unlike my phone's video capabilities, the new Draper dirt jumps do not suck.

First ride of the season, most of the trails have been leaf blown.

People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

I know this gap and the landing involves a massive fir right in the middle of lz. Sketch-tastic.

You must be thinking of a different spot. This landing is pretty clear. I made sure of it years ago. No trees harmed.

ive been teaching my girl to ride (which is a struggle) so today we went and did low angle berms and i built a couple little obstacles for her.

tday was the first time she stood up on an obstacle, even got her to slow down and let the teeter totter do its thing

Nope, but I've had my eye on some lines out there, prolly go out there to play before to long, there seems to be a fair amount of room to roam outside of the wilderness. Could be a fun place to play after riding Sayles.

Went for a nice scenic ride near Pt. Reyes, CA. Cows, hawks, herons, deer, snakes, seals, rabbits and more. Cool ride for the views and a good lookout for a mid-ride brew. Windy at the cliffs, hang onto your shit!

Did a gravel ride this weekend out to the granite hot springs. Easy pedaling on the way out, stressful creek crossing, and one bad rum-induced bail on the way back that pockmarked my left side.

Funny you should say that, that area has some of the most beautiful granite I've ever seen. I went so far as mapping out a mostly overland route for a point to point this winter when I was bored that started above Dodge Ridge went out to the Big/Hyatt Lake zone then dropped granite all the way to Cherry

Whatever that is, it looks like it'd be fun to ride on a bicycle...
