    Cold today, high of 34 on Bald Mountain here. Couldn't fit a hat under the POC, thus the old ski helmet. Might be the last day on the higher trails but we'll see. BBBRRRRrrrrrrr.

    Busted my ankle a month ago, gave myself plenty of rest and was going stir-crazy from the inactivity, so met up with a buddy for a ride to see how things felt. Cannot say how stoked I was and still am to have gone out for a mellow ride!

    I haven't ridden that loop proper in a long time but it's still there. If you haven't been, they've added a ton of trails in the past couple if years. It's pretty fantastic.

    nice thanx for the tip. would love to get back there sometime. fall of 2000 was the last time i rode that loop. rode that area a fair bit.
