Spending a few days in the Sierra, got to ride the Angora Ridge to Lily Lake new construction. The rock work on Lily Lake trail is really well done. It all rolls, but it's a wild ride maintaining flow. Gotta trust the builders!

Goat's Gully? If so, loved that trail. Proper janky tech right there.
The older I get, the faster I was.

    Punch it, Chewie.

    Damn he seems cool.

High country riding is on! Should have put this in the stuff I love thread! Did manage to have my first wreck of the season on a section I have never blown in 20 years. That’s why riding is awesome, always full of surprises!!

Pretty good shot, but not sure I’m hitting this one again. Rough landing

Lots of laps w kids in the yard and small bike park nearby

Helped build this ~2 bike length gap few years ago, but hadn’t ridden it until yesterday. Fun knocking off new features

I think it’s rained on me 75% of the time I’ve ridden this trail. Not complaining.

Only pic I took today, because the fly situation is quite epic right now. Damn, that was bad. Constantly flying in our helmet vents and driving us bat shit crazy (in addition to the biting horse flys).

A buddy and I started the process of getting new intermediate trails built in Whistler's south end about 8 years ago now, got it planned and approved with WORCA and 4 years ago we started ongoing trail nights to construct the trail. The community really took it on as their own, and last night we had an 'official' opening ride for the volunteers. 10 km of trail, almost all volly built, super fun for beginners and intermediates, being upgraded for adaptive, and just a ripping good time for advanced riders too. Super special to enjoy riding it with so many long time friends and especially my wife and son. This was T.odd Jr's first pedal on it, he did ride the first completed section on the macride a couple years ago. 3rd day on his 20" with gears and he was crushing it, full heart!

Todd that has to be so fulfilling. Well done

Garbo jank is running about as well as one can imagine. As is Creekside jank. Just 7 years ago it was mossy loam!
