The trails by my new home are kinda fun. Starts with this odd (to me at least) pine forest at the top, not what I consider the usual trees for a tropical locale
The place is littered with strawberry guava (and most likely pigs due to all of 'em but haven't ran into any yet)
And about halfway through you get metro views
No riding shots since I'm always solo, but I'll try and grab some terrain shots one of these rides.
EDIT: Fukkifiknow why these pics are showing up sideways, and this site is running at dialup hosting speeds right now so not going to futz with 'em. Turn your head sideways for proper viewing
Be careful about buying snowboard goggles for skiing. Snowboard goggles come in right eye and left eye (for goofy-footers) dominant models. This can make it hard to see correctly when skiing because you are facing straight down the hill, not sideways.
Where?
Thirteen year old Rudy, still loves the single track. Tom Blake Trail, Snowmass Colorado.

Two year old Rocky. I like Ripping single track almost as much as Powder and it’s a lot easier to duplicate.

This is my 2nd time riding by these guys. They just transferred them to this field and it's pretty much the only exit to get back, so mandatory. 1st time I was scared shitless. I'm a wee bit more comfortable now.![]()
High country things are just starting to happen!

Little gravel loop on Red Hill in Gypsum CO, it's part of the Big Horn Gravel event course.
Looking East towards the Gore range:
Looking south at Sopris:
Enough afternoon cloud cover to take the heat off. Dry, dusty and fun.
We went counter clockwise (event direction in 2023), this year the event will go clockwise.
Riding before work makes me a better human all day.

Checked out a new to me DH trail yesterday. It was impressively chunky.
