It's a fun ride. Hard climb in the heat yesterday for sure. Downhill is ripping!
Now I gotta get back to reality and find a new car. Sounds like my old shitty suby has taken it's last adventure

Hatchery Ridge trails in Blue Lake, CA. Light-hearted fun vibe to the whole system, including this fully stocked ping pong table at the top of one of the climbs. Super fun trails, great steep forest tech and some fun freeridey flow trails, too. Almost entirely directional and DH-focused. Highly recommended.

That’s a first never seen ping pong table at a trail system, have seen plenty of beer taps, benches, old chairlift seats, and even a urinal (OG American Standard in Jim Thorpe).
Finally getting out for trail rides w my shred partner again after shoulder injury.

^^ heck yeah, great times out there 2 summers ago. Vaguely remember a night ride lit by head lamps after 3-4 IPAs.

On the way home from the PNW I was able to talk a few friends into joining me on a classic adventure ride. Bugs were bad so no pics from the second half of the ride, but the alpine flowers were peaking. The longest 26 miles in the book...

I'll share both of the epic ride locales that I've ridden lately, but they are both pretty much huge detours from the Olympic to Tahoe migration.
First was on the Kettle Crest in eastern Washington: Jungle Hill loop Route

Second one (pics from yesterday) was up in the Lionhead, Montana Idaho border near west Yellowstone. Mile to Sheep and we shuttled the road
