It took about 37 speed checks, but he went for the wood drop and nailed it.

I'm not sure whether to be thrilled or terrified, but thankfully he is not reckless about going for new stuff. I edited out him crashing hard in the runout when he hit some loose duff trying to shut down speed. I was a little surprised he wanted to go for it again after that but very proud of the determination.

Soon the grass and flowers will turn brown and the temps will hit triple digits. Savoring this while it lasts!

Your little man isn't on a yellow comencal is he? Saw a kid rip down last night with dad on blue GT. Didn't know if it was you.

Nope, he's on the light blue Flow hardtail with neon green stickers he's riding in the video. I ride a silver Reign that will soon have a white fork. We don't make it to I street often on weeknights since it's a bit of a haul from Sandy in rush hour traffic.

we just started to be able to ride the valley trails here but jealous of all you getting out on the trails now

I think I finally can admit that I love biking as much as skiing.

Mostly my bike, but after moving to SLC it's been awesome being able to ride later in the fall and start way earlier (after bungling through bike rebuild) this spring. Been mostly hitting jump trails and spots since Portland ME don't have none but this was from a fun hike a bike I like to hit. Hot and dry now!

Nice job, I also raced in the wet yesterday.

Coming down this hill of slick mud at 40mph was a little scary, that's probably me way at the back.

Looking just over the top of your glasses keeps some of the mud out of your eyes. Not being behind someone also helps.

Got down to Moab last weekend with phatfreeheeler's clan and some new friends.

Nothing beats a good desert sunrise

    Camp ramp sessions

Remember kids, in Moab 20% chance of showers means torrential downpour and 50-60 mph winds. Nobody's tent survived entirely unscathed, but Scott's will never be the same

Shuttled upper Getaway Sunday morning. As good as it gets for a kids DH in Moab.

It was possibly the best day I ever had on a bike. Just felt like I was ripping hard. Hearing spectators be like, "Dude, that was fucking smooth!" as you rip through a rock garden is awesome. Full on uncontrollable woo hoos at the end of some stages like when you just skied several hundred feet of eyeball deep blower.

And yes, the Warden (especially the carbon) fucking owns.
