Well, I guess he told all of you!

Edit: I'm pretty bored, so I actually took the time to read this whole thread. Quality little catfights sprinkled all over. Once again, DSanders seems full blown delusional. Western folks trolling and getting some Easterners all panty wadded. Not as good as the political or sox/yanks threads, but close.

Killington sucks, so nobody cares that the new management is making is suck more. Quit bitching about how much crappier its going to be and go to one of the EC mountains that actually have good terrain. I would suggest some better mountains, but if you don't agree with the above statements then you're probably a gaper from New York/ New Jersey and nobody wants gapering up the good EC mountains so shut the fuck up and go wait in the hour long line for the K1.
Yes, Killington sucks. Go to Jay....much better tree skiing up there!!!

Hey, thanx for saving me some time.
Kinda stunning that Damian boy is all wadded up before the first season even starts under the new owners. But, I'll bet he's wadded up about a lot of things in life.
And Killington terrain is pretty damn good, the trees are mucho fun. Just wanted you Mt Slow and other Easterners to know that.

So far, these are the two coolest things on this thread:

Now let's get back to the east/west debate. (Llast year I had a conversation on a lift with a guy who had moved back from CO the previous year. When I told him the skiing must be a letdown, he replied, "Yeah, the skiing was great, but I couldn't take another year with all those assholes." I asked him if he knew who Blurred11's was, but I guess he was referring to other assholes.)
Amusing. I just got back from a NYC day trip where the only positive people I spoke with throughout the day were the maggots I met up with for beer. I especially loved my bus driver you was on the horn (LITERALLY) for five minutes straight and who got off the bus to try to start a fight with a "fuckin scumbag" who wouldn't move his truck. heh. Assholes are everywhere.

    ^^^access and altitude.

just imagine places like MRG, stowe, magic with peaks around 11k feet.
sure the beloved trees would be dead up top, but all things equal, i can't imagine too many westerners would be complaining too much about having those places available for 7-8 months a year.

    and yes to the bumps,
    yes to making the bumps.
and weekly dumps to bury the bumps,
and leave us to make more bumps.

I agree, I love the bumps, especially a good line that just flows on and on....

As for MRG at 11K, that would definitely be sweet, but the ride up would suck

This thread has actually taken a much better direction since the original post. Reasonable entertainment while waiting for winter. However, just to keep things in the proper perspective; Chris Nyburg has not worked at or for Mt Bachelor in many years and left there long before Powdr Corp became the current owners. More recently Chris has been with Bombardier snow cats. I do recall Mr Sanders that you were warned of what life under Powdr would be like ...
