    krypton/flexon vs daleboot

anyone have experience with a comparison of these types of boots? i am very curious about the forward flex of the daleboot vs kryptons/flexons. i currently ski in a krypton, and even with custom footbeds, ID liners, and much bootwork, i am still plagued by fit problems, and was curious about daleboots (being custom boots and all). one thing that seems like it could be a problem with daleboots is their forward lean--with the krypton i use no heelcuff shims in soft snow (very upright stance), and the small shim in hardpack conditions.

    thanks for any input

Call the Daleboot factory and talk to them, I'm sure they'll answer all your questions. The number is on their site.

Bump because my reply posted but didn't bump the thread...it still shows 0 replies.

I don't think the forward lean is out of line with other boots...it just looks greater because of the bumps on the back of the shell where the flex spring goes. Anyway: call the factory, all the people there make and fit their boots and can tell you anything you need to know.

dale will custom make you anything what you want or need.

kyrpton's and flexons fit different. If either fit is good for you great. if not dale might be an answer

It has been years since i have skied a Daleboot, I recall the flex being dead compared to a Flex-ton type boot.
