What BSL on prior solly mount?

I am trying to figure out what BSL a set of skis was mounted for. They are a defnitely a solly hole pattern. The distance from the rear two holes on the toe to the front two holes on the heel is 9 7/8".

Anyone with a jig able to take a quick measurement?

9 7/8" is 251mm. I just measured an old Salomon mount at just over 270mm (I'm guessing where the rear screws are but I know where they sit under the brake pad). Those are for a 324mm (28/28.5) shell. So I'd pretty safely say yours are for a 26/26.5 at about 305mm.

Perfect, thanks. Gotta love this board!!

So, what are the chances that my 218's will squeeze into these? Am I hosed for redrilling since the pattern is close?

Try to move the heel piece back and test your boots. 305 should be able to go back to 318.

I'll mount 'em up and check it out. Do 914's have any wider range of motion than old 14 din 957's?

another data point, which confirms the above info

    is that a 315mm BSL is 260mm.

I can only speak for S900s, but the track is the same formost recent consumer models. I had S900s setup for an old 345mm, then when I got my new 324mm (after getting a job in a shop and getting fitted properly!), they wouldn't adjust down small enough. So not enough range for a 21mm change. You're talking about 13mm (I assume you meant 318mm) - you should be fine.
