    What HD video cam to buy

    I'd love to get a small video cam that is all digital mostly for family video but would like it small so I can put it in my pocket for skiing. Like to keep the price as much under a grand as possible. Recs?

    Also, what software do you all recommend for editing onto DVD. I have a PC based set up.

    search for threads by bcrider and trackhead. both do alot of HD filming. I believe that the canon HV-10 or something of the sort is the one to get. check out bcriders thread he just posted a video in. Quality is sick!
