a few photos from a recent ride (caution: not exciting)

the colors have been popping here recently, so i took a P&S camera along for a ride the other day. most of these photos were shot while riding (didn't really want to stop), so i apologize that the compositions and clarity are not the best -- had to keep 1 hand on the bars!

the views were pretty decent and the colors weren't bad, either. i can't complain.

    hope you enjoy 'em!

(That is the Grand in the center of this one; Buck is to the left. Both offer great lines to ski.)

I didn't capture it too well without a better zoom (and stopping might have helped!), but here you can see the "sleeping indian". it's as if he is laying on his back. his chest is on the left and his head-dress is on the right. on clear days, the "facial features" are very defined.

Nice. Tetons = not just for mountain bikes. How long is your typical loop?

good thing you posted that disclaimer in your thread title otherwise I would have been severely disappointed!

seriously though, its gotta be awesome to have that right out your garage, thanks for sharing!

i usually start out riding the pass (=12.5 miles round-trip / 2,300' vert), then tack on 20-50 miles from there. i try to ride the pass as often as possible (about every day i take my road bike out), and the other day it was so much fun i did 3 laps.

then again, i like biking up old pass road to the top of elly on my MTB & hitting up blacks, lithium, etc.

    pretty amazing terrain, all-around.
