Some cool stuff on his site, he really goes for the "wow" factor. Thanks for posting.
That's cool, and has given me some ideas for this year on the snow![]()
I'm thinking a homemade chest harness, and an E-bay remote shutter release. The possibilities are endless.
Oh, here is another cool Chase Jarvis video, posted on the Strobist website. It's fairly long, but has some interesting info for someone getting into the biz.

Yeah, it does. If I ever stop working myself to death, there are several projects I have in mind like that.
I don't know. But I don't think it matters, at least not for my camera. I have a Fujufilm s5 pro(essentially a Nikon D200 with Fuji sensor). I have left it on for weeks at a time and the battery has still shown a full charge. Same for the D200 I owned before the Fuji. If it isn't metering I don't think it uses any juice. Is the camera awake inbetween intervals, or does it go to sleep if the interval is long? The same could not be said for the Canon 10D I owned before the Nikon. Before I set up the auto shutoff it would kill a battery in a 24 hour period if I forgot to turn it off. Don't ask me why.
bump for the short version.
Awesome sound track too (turn up the bass).
