I dunno, no firsthand experience. You'd have to ask someone else about that, but the 185's would probably ski like a 179 or something.

I ski the 193 and it does ski short, more like a 192. Seriously Eds, look into things before you just say them, you could cost someone a sale or new skis.

The running length on the 185 Blower is 1cm shorter than a 186 Legend Pro. Since it's a bit wider I don't think it'll ski shorter.

That may be true, but from my experience it does ride short. I spend most of my time on 180ish skis. The 185 seemed to ride shorter than my 177 Pros. Perhaps it is the sidecut, but it really did feel like the tip rose early.

On the other hand, I loved the ski. Even though it seemed to turn easily/tightly, it was still stable at speed. And what else do you need legth for?

Now this is from riding on the ski for just 4 hours - so take it with a grain of salt.

do I still need to say "dibs" if Teambone has not posted a size, responded to a PM or posted a pic showing skis are in hand? if so, dibs - assuming its a 185 and teambone has pics showing them in the wrapper and sends a pic to my email.

FWIW - the 193 Blower actually measures out to 189 (at least mine does) and the effective edge I measure is about 156 cm.
