    Breckenridge Winter Season (Help!)

Well I really don't know if this is the right forum.. but I'm kindda desperate..

My name is Fernando, I'm 22 years old and I'm from Argentina. I'm posting this because I'm arriving to Breckenridge, CO. on December 15, and I'm planning to stay and work all winter season.

    I got a J1 visa and Argentine/Spanish nationality.

The problem is that the guy who was going to hire me, said me last week that he has already hired he's own nephew. I already paid my trip, prepared my skis... but, now I lost my job.

If anyone can help me.. I'll really appreciate it..

My English it's pretty good, I went all my junior and high school to a bilingual institution. I sat for the I.G.S.C.E (Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education) exam and got a full diploma.

Actually in Buenos Aires I'm in the Law School and also studying journalism.

I got plenty of knowledge in computers (Windows, Internet, Word, Excel, Access, etc.). My high school degree it's "Software Technician" (I don't know the exact translation in the U.S, but i know a lot about computer programming Basic/VB/C++/C#/Java).

I play Rugby in the first team of my club (Deportiva Francesa) and I also coach a division called "Mosquitos", formed by kids between 4 and 8 years old.

If anyone can help me, or there's anything else you need to know (ANYTHING) just e-mail me.

**I'll work in almost any place!

    Thx, a lot...

You're going to get a lot more views in the Ski/Snowboard forum or the padded room. Good luck on you search!

I would contact VA for sure. Are you looking to ski alot or work alot?

If you want to ski try to work at Buffaloes/Wildwood restaurants in the "Utility" position.

I worked there in the 04/05 season and had the best inbounds powder days of my life.....on mountain with the lifts running at 7:30....literally the mountain to yourself for a solid hour+.

Contact Gerard or "O" if they still work there as managers/heads

    GOOD LUCK!

edit to add: this is in Vail, but VA runs Breck too...

Tap was looking for someone for an Access related position on this thread.

Location didn't seem important to him.

    Thumbs up

Just start your own "mystery hole" business in a Breckenridge high traffic Mens bathroom. You can ski all day, and can "tend" the hole on your own hours.
