The old Tracker was sometimes criticized for this. Lag is a quirk that is overcome with some practice and experience. We know how much the average user practices... and even for the diligent user, no-lag is better.

that was mainly becuase people would wave the beacon around like it was an analog.

i've seen people do it who have never touched a single antenna beacon.

it really wouldn't be a problem if there wasn't lag
now there isn't any... yay!
