Didn't notice the weight at all on a Nomad

PS: 08 DHX Air....good, but the new ProPedal lever is confusing and hard to work with gloves.

for the travel and insane steering stiffness, the totem is lighter than the alternatives. much lighter than the zoke 66 for example.

I bought the totem back in March. rockshox determined that the o-rings in the 2-step system were not the newer i.e. slightly thicker ones, and decided to ship me a brand new totem as a replacement 'just to be sure'. turnaround time at SRAM: 2 days, plus air shipping. gonna break in the new seals on the 7,000 vert foot cannell plunge this weekend.

^^^^^^^NICE. Great customer service, that sram group has.
    I wanted a Totem, but I found a brand new 07' Talus 36 air for $400, shipped.
    THAT sealed the deal.

    I'm still digging mine.

Got to work on using faster shutter speeds though.

i actually rode mine today... i loved it.... never bothered bringing it down to 115, but it climbed really well at 160. there were a couple of times that I got caught up, but that was rider error.

Along with 7" single crown forks, I think adjustable travel 6" forks are the next (or current I guess) wave. Riding a SC Nomad, with the Lyrik at a full 160mm, the bike feels like an all mountain bike ready to hit some downhill singletrack. Drop it down to 110mm and the bike feels like a 4" trail bike ready to pedal. And with the build I was riding weighing in at just over 31 pounds, it will gladly do so.
