Is the Arc'Teryx store in BC worth making a detour by?
I'll be racing in Vancouver Friday-Saturday, and have been told that there is an Arc'Teryx outlet / factory store around there. Is it worth checking out, as in, are their prices significantly different than the typical USA prices? Also, does anybody have an address (even partial) as I can't find info on the Arc'Teryx Web site (me = dumb).
Sorry, can't help ya!
BUT...let us know if you do find the Arc'teryx warehouse or store and IF the prices are worth the trip. That shit is really really quality and really good shit in general, but the prices are killers.
I picked up a Jacket last spring while home for vacation for 125 cdn. It has the sidewinder zipper. Maybe it's called the sidewinder. Nothing wrong with it either. Just discontinued.
Worth it for sure. Just off the Grandview Highway before Petcetera.
Stopped buy when I was in Vancouver, some great deals if you dont care about the color of your jacket(lots of "mustard/tequila" shells). I picked up a tshirt for $10 American, and a Beta AR shell for $180 american. The only problem with the jacket is a small invisible pinhole that was patched on the inside under the arm. Not even visible from the outside. Definately not going to argue with that.
