Jan. 5-13, least crowded week of the year?

Used to always take a week off from the ski area that week, as: a)there was light business; and b)the same went for all the ski areas, hence a great week to ski. In particular i remember [most things about] a 5 day trip to Brighton in 91 or 92, right after they let us Big Sky passholders use our passes for free at Brighton. They had opened a new lift, and had half cut some runs, off some ridge on skier's right. Every day we'd grab coffee in the cafe, some snow safety/patrol dude Craig would swing by, tell us yep, another 7" last night, and, at the top of the lift, we'd drop into 14"+. Day after day. FKNA awesome. Day we left the valley got a huge dump, we were watching semi's go off the road on the way home.

That still a good/slow week? Thinking of a Moonlight or SLC 4-5 day trip...

It's the same old shit that I ain't gonna take off anyone.
and I never had a shortage of people tryin' to warn me about the dangers I pose to myself.

Of course it's still a good week! I do the exact same thing for that week. I think last year I skipped it due to thin cover, or maybe I just went to Targhee.

Not to knock Moonlight, but you'd probably start to get bored of the terrain there after 4-5 days. Gotta integrate some BC or Big Sky/Bridger into it if you're gonna ski that many days straight.

Yeah, true. Make that a BS/MLB/BB/BC/PBR loop.
