My normal routine when I go to Key West for the weekend is to fish the flats one day, fish offshore the next day and go home the following morning. The first hour out on the flats I realized I left my camera in my truck so no flats shots. This time of year you fish the flats in the morning until about 10 and then go in and return in the evening when the water on the flats cools off. As we were putting the flyrods away my buddy casually mentions that theres a Miss Hawaiian tropic contest tonight on Duval street.

So I did what any serious flyfisherman would do.....
