    Bindings for Prophet 100's

Trying to decide what to mount my new Prophets with.

I was thinging Rossi scractch 140's (im not clear if this is the same as the axial 2 pro)

also looking at the atomic ffg 12 and 14 and the marker jester.

    Suggestions appreciated!

The new jester looks pretty rad. The wider plate should really make a difference on a ski like the 100. Also consider the new STH 16 from Salomon. Wider plate for wider skis and super burly.
East coast girls think six inches is deep!!

I can see the salomon for sure.. The jester look great but my verdict is out (even though I have a pair of Dukes coming)...

Point being I've skied the shit out of a few salomons... love them

What is your driver...price, DIN, stack height, metal vs. plastic? If you have a hook-up (shop deal or shop form) go with a burly high-DIN model and they'll last for a while.

If you don't need a DIN over 12 and don't have a hookup, go get the Rossi 120 Ti WB's over a backcountry for $99 and be done with it.

I've had the scratch's on my motherships and they are probably the best binding i've ever had as far as not prereleasing. low to the ski too. an excellent choice.

Powder snow skiing is not fun. It’s life, fully lived, life lived in a blaze of reality. What we experience in powder is the original human self, which lies deeply inside each of us, still undamaged in spite of what our present culture tries to do to us. Once experienced, this kind of living is recognized as the only way to live–fully aware of the earth and the sky and the gods and you, the mortal, playing among them. Dolores LaChapelle

Y'know the FFG's come with some pimping sticker packages to steeze out your bindings. That should sell it right there.

But seriously folks, Rossis will work and they'll be cheap. Or just keep your eye out on SAC for some more PX12s...?

Reviving this thread because I still haven't picked up a pair yet.

I ski at a din of 9 right now on my old S912's. Going any higher on a 12 din binding starts to get dangerous I think.

The s914s/ffg 14's are looking nice.

Same with the 14 din rossis. I the STH 16 looks awseome but heavy.

I'd definitely go with some of those non-segregated binders.

The STH really isn't that heavy if you have had a chance to see it. The new metal pieces are minimal. Metal where it needs to be strong and the rest is like the old 914 plastic. Plus you get a fifth screw in the heel which is nice if you have problems ripping screws out. With the weight under foot and not a factor with swing weight i think the difference is going to be very minimal in feel.

If you are ripping out alpine bindings, you need to visit a new shop
