    Snoop Daddy mounting point

It looks like I may need to re-mount my 185 Snoop Daddies a little forward of the factory line...About 1.5cm. This is due to switching bindings and the new toes (Rossi Axial2 140) being too close to the existing holes.

I've always thought these skis had a really rearward mounting point, but wanted to get some oppinions from those who've mounted them forward...

I'm pretty stuck, but would like to know what type of performance issues, either positive/negative, I might encounter w/a forward mount on these.

    Thanks.

P.S. I did search and found nothing related to this scenario.

185 Snoops are 79.5 cm from the tail. so if you are at 81 cm to boot center, that sounds ideal. for a skinny ski like that you should be fine, unless its your quiver of one ski. A little more nimble, but the trade off is a little more tip dive.

They are one of very many skis in my quiver...Very much not to my wifes liking.

Anyways...When I use the BOF method (Ball Of Foot over center of balance point on the ski), the boot mid-point is well ahead of the factory line by almost 3cm.

I am pretty sure that is a terrible way to determine mounting point. Unless you got some completely symmetrical twin tipped d-o-double-gs, I mean snoops...and telemark.

Too funny! I meant BOF over the center point determined by chord length.

Problem was solved anyway...Once I put the template on the ski, I was able to keep the boot midsole over the factory line w/out any conflict with existing holes.

    Thanks for the input.
