are you certain that a trip to juniata is a prize and not some kind of penalty? although it's not alaska huge, the commonwealth of pa is a by lower 48 standards pretty huge. there's lots of space between pittsburgh and philly, and that's where you're going.

flying into pittsburgh or philly and then driving, or getting a more direct flight to a smaller airport?

I imagine we will fly to where ever is cheepest, I have to miss a weekend of summer skiing but thats ok hanging out with my friends for five days is so fun and PA has got to be a hell of a lot better then Ohio where we went last time (wich is the shittiest place ever) hopefully I'll get to do some smallmouth bass fishing (best fish other then salmon and trout) and win some scholarship money

Just remember it takes TWO people to join the mile high club. Strokin' solo doesn't count.

Was that the date of conception for your "team nerd fest?"

Nope I've been going to nationals for 4 years (including this one) I won a scholarship to UC at Colorado Springs in 8th grade ($10,000) and then went to Delewhere freshman year, and Ohio last year

    Thumbs up

Good for you. Is the scholarship money transferable, or in the schools name?

Good luck in whatever you are doing.

i'm sure you're stoked on the trip regardless. raystown lake is somewhat close to juniata college, and has some good fishing spots. in general, there is good hunting/fishing to be had here in pennsyltucky.

if you're able to get there, the altoona curve minor league baseball team plays in a pretty damn sweet little ballpark that's worth the trip by itself. it's like a major-league stadium except on a much smaller and less-expensive scale.

I like that you felt the need to put "(nsr)" in a thread titled "I'm going to Pennsylvania."
