The word FUCK

Ran across this a long time ago.. It helped to improve my communication skills..
Perhaps one of the most interesting and colorful words in the English language today is the word FUCK. It is the one magical word just by sound can describe pain, pleasure, hate and love. FUCK, as most words in the English language, takes its name from another language. In this case, the German word, “ficken” which means “FUCK.”

In the English language, FUCK falls into many grammatical categories. It can be used as a verb both transitive (John FUCKED Mary) and intransitive (Mary was FUCKED by John). It can be an active verb (Mary really gives a FUCK) or a passive verb (Mary really doesn’t give a FUCK). As an adverb (Mary is FUCKING interested in John) and as a noun (Mary is a fine FUCK). It can be used as an adjective (Mary is really FUCKING beautiful).

As you can see, there are not many words with the versatility of FUCK.

Besides its sexual connotations, this lovely word can be used to describe many situations:
Fraud – I got FUCKED by my insurance man.
Dismay – Oh, FUCK it!
Trouble – I guess I’m FUCKED now.
Aggression – FUCK you!
Passive – FUCK me!
Confusion – What the FUCK!
Difficulty – I can’t understand this FUCKING business.
Despair – FUCKED again.
Philosophical – Who gives a FUCK?
Incompetence – He’s a FUCK up!
Laziness – He’s a FUCK off!
Displeasure – What the FUCK is going on?
Rebellion – Oh, FUCK it!

It can be used in descriptive anatomy – He’s really a FUCKING asshole!
It can be used in business – How did he get that FUCKING job?
It can be a prediction – Well, I’ll be FUCKED!
It can be maternal – As in mother FUCKER.
It can be incestuous – As in mother FUCKER.
It can be nautical – As in FUCK the admiral.
It can be political – As in FUCK Hillary.
It can be the door to wonderful relationships – Let’s FUCK!
It can even be used to enhance the meaning of words like “beautiFUCKINGful” or “terFUCKINGriffic”!!!

The mind fairly boggles at the many more creative uses of this FUCKtual word. How can anyone be offended when you say FUCK? Use it in your daily speech, it adds to your prestige. Today, tell someone…

There was a nice documentary made not too long ago simply called "Fuck." It was about the word, it's history, censorship, and its use both in every day talk and in historically promenant occasions. (My favorite was from L.B.J., who said something to the effect that an economic policy set forth by a rival politician did to America what "pantyhose did to finger fucking.")

One of the facts that it mentioned was that there's no difinitive source for the word. The first time it appears in liturature is in a ribald poem involving a preist and a nun from something like the the 1200s. No literary scholars have precisely placed where the word came from or what it's derived from. Fuck if anyone knows.
